Scrap Metal Jewelry (Workshop)
Level: Workshop
Price: LAC Members $115 / Non-Members $120
Lab Fee: $20
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Discover how using your scrap metal as a design element can create a piece that is truly one-of-a-kind. This workshop will speak briefly to sustainability and ethics in jewelry and abstraction in art before we dig into our scrap metal and let the creative process take over. This workshop is a wonderful way to let loose in a medium that can demand quite a bit of rigidity. Our studio’s copper/brass scrap bins can be used for inspiration or bring along your pretty little silver scraps for a finer selection. All other fabrication materials are available for purchase if needed.
